Brian was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and studied art in an independent capacity at Washington State University--focusing primarily upon photography. The artist settled in the Tahoe area three years ago after traveling abroad for a time.
As a naturalist and abstract photographer, Brian has an edict regarding reproduction not frequently found amongst photographers: he will only reproduce any particular image once. In Brian's own words:
“The decision to print each photo only once, has come early in my career. This forces me to grow as a
photographer,
pushing me to work
hard to create new
images.
If a person owns
my work, they can be
confident that they
will never see a legal
reproduction outside of
a publication, all
prints are originals
and one of a kind..”
