Artist Statement
"Painting has always been a very sacred and personal experience for me. In a world where space and environment seem to be condensing, the creative process remains a vast and endless universe of possibilities. When working, I am habitually absorbed with the tactile qualities of the materials I use. Often, I am grounded in a state of tranquil & quiet meditation. Gradually, slowly, each piece evolves organically in color, texture and composition. The product of this conversation between artist and artwork involves reaching a mutual understanding that, once achieved, is an honest and true form of communication."
